Hi, I’m Logan Akira Frank.

My story so far

I grew up in Saratoga, California — half Japanese, half Ashkenazi Jewish, and about as Californian as it gets. As a kid I played baseball, football, and soccer, then spent a good chunk of high school at Harker doing tech theater instead. From there I studied Business at Santa Clara University, less because I had it all figured out and more because I figured I’d need the flexibility to fund whatever I ended up wanting to build.

After graduating, I spent three years as a Senior Associate in Data Assurance and Transparency at PwC, based in San Jose. It gave me a solid look at how big organizations handle risk, data, and trust — good experience, even if it’s not the whole story of who I am.

Outside of work

I’m a big reader — mostly fantasy and sci-fi — and just as big into anime and games. On the animated side, Avatar: The Last Airbender, Adventure Time, and The Amazing Digital Circus are all favorites. Outside of screens and books, I try to spend real time outdoors: hiking, backpacking, and generally being in nature. I also play pickleball and volleyball regularly — it’s become one of my favorite ways to stay active and meet new people.

What I’m building

I tinker with a few side projects on top of everything else, including Life Guide — a system I built to keep myself honest about goals across career, health, finances, and more. More on the projects page.
